COASTLINE TACK is a different type of tack store. We wanted to provide a place where folks could shop, find everything they need, and have fun doing it! Finding new and exciting things for equestrians is our specialty. Our customers are constantly telling us how they enjoy coming in to see what we have found this week!
With that, we strive to stock the necessities for every level of riding and budget. While we proudly display the brands that upper level riders require, we also have several lines of clothing that appeal to beginners.
The store is amply stocked with an array of supplements and grooming supplies at all times. Our “blanket room” completes the list needed to keep our equine friends healthy and happy.
Adding to all of this, is our wonderful lines of English tack. We proudly carry the brands that are well-known in the Hunter/Jumper world.

Shelby and Peggy Nelson, owners, have a rich background in horses. Peggy has eighteen years experience as Office Manager of one of the largest farms in the area. She has ridden most of her life and enjoys all aspects of the equestrian world. Shelby has an extensive background in management and business operations, owning his own wholesale business for twenty years. Together, Peggy and Shelby handle the ordering and bookkeeping aspects of COASTLINE. They enjoy living on a horse farm in the beautiful Pungo area.
Ms. Angela Snow is Manager of the store and comes with years of experience! Busy in retail most of her life, she also lives in Pungo where she has several horses of her own. Riding and showing most of her life, she can help with just about any problem or concern a customer may have.
Ms. Andy Moulton stays quite busy keeping the store decorated, stocked, and assisting the customers. She, too, has years of experience in tack shop operation and retail layout design.
The latest member of our staff, Mrs. Angela Bievre, is a graduate of Virginia Intermont College with a degree in equine studies. She has a vast background, having been barn manager of a large local farm and English riding instructor. Her knowledge of horses makes her a specialist in all aspects of our store.
